Dena is a recreational athlete in many sports including golf, paddle tennis, running half marathons and walking her dog. She teaches yoga as a general practitioner with more emphasis on back and knee alignment based on the teachings of the Iyengar method through Gabriel Halpern of the Yoga Circle of Chicago. She is trained with a specialty in therapeutic back and knee care yoga. Dena works as an assistant at the Yoga Circle for therapeutic student-patients. She also received her base yoga training in Hot Power Yoga, 200RYT.
